Please join us in celebrating Greta Wrolstad this coming week. Greta was an MFA student at the University of Montana and a Poetry Editor at Cutbank Magazine. She died tragically in a car accident in 2005, after completing her first year in the MFA program.
Greta touched many lives in her short time at UM, and her legacy lives on in the MFA program, in the writing community, and through her friends in Missoula and around the world. We hope you will check the daily content to appreciate the memories and stories shared in honor of her life and work.
The project is in honor of the publication of her book, Notes on Sea and Shore, and we are excited to feature a review from a friend of Greta’s on Friday, as well as stories and poems throughout the week. Help us commend the life of this talented poet.
